Nice Guys

The heart is the most fragile thing in the world. It is so fragile it will break without physical touching. That sounded good didn't it? Well, I am not about to talk about that, I am about to talk about the nice guy and why this world is not made for use (yeah I said us)

If you could look into the past you would see hundreds of nice guys basically getting wiped off the face of the planet. The Native American for example, helped the pilgrims survive a harsh winter. How did they repay them dry ass turkey and small pox (yes, I know the pilgrims didn't give them the blankets with the small pox on it this is an editorial not a damn history report). The Aztecs treated the Spanish to tobacco and hot ass Latina women and what did they get? All of their gold taken away and Catholicisms. So with that in mind, it is hard to look at the nice guys as a treasure to the human race.

I modern times the land has been taken and the small pox has been eradicated, but the nice guy still lives on. He is that guy that opens the door for women. He is the guy that will give an old lady his seat on the bus. He is that guy that will buy a lady a drink and not even bother her the rest of the night. Nice guys are what fairy tales and comic books are made out of real life is strangely different.

When asked, women will say that they want a guy that is caring and kind. A guy that will listen and buy her flowers for no reason. And what happens when they find a guy like that. They step all over him. Because women don't want nice guys they want the idea of a nice guy. Women want that guy that will not pay attention to them and will sleep with their sister the first chance they get. See, women are like scientist, and guys are the guinea pigs. They want someone they can mold into this image of what they see in movies and read in those romance novels. When she meets a nice guy, she can't change him so she looks at it as a none challenge and proceeds to fuck him up for the next woman to try and clean up.

When it comes to life outside of romance the nice guy gets the short end of the stick. People will take advantage of you every change they get if they see that they can and a nice guy will rationalize ways of making it sound better in his head. I have done many a show and not get paid for it until much later if at all. Is it their fault? No. It is my fault for thinking that everyone thinks like me.

The sad thing about it is that nice guys are a dying breed. If we don't have any nice people in the world there will be nothing left but assholes and the world is up to it's poles in that. What I want every nice guy to do is to reach down deep inside themselves and grab a hold of their balls and fight back once in a while. When people realize you are not to be fucked over they will show you some respect. The next time you go out with a girl and she orders the expensive shit just tap the guy on the shoulder at the next table and say really loud "She ordered the shrimp! Guess I'm getting some head tonight!" Or if someone cuts you in a line somewhere just put their ass in a sleeper hold they will never do it again.
