So I actually went out to the places where I could actually, like really, buy a car from them. I was surprised at what I saw. A lot of the cars had a lot of miles and something amiss in the actual people compartment. Either the radio or something of that nature would just be missing. Not that I would use a stock radio in the first place. I have something called an Ipod so I really don't have to worry about "regular" radio. There were a couple of cars in my price range that I liked, but in the back of my mind I kept thinking that I can wait a month and get an even better car.
So, the issue with M and I is over...for now. She told me I jump to conclusions because I am not one who likes to communicate. I told her, that if she was really communicating then this issue would never really be well...an issue.
I asked her brother-in-law to look over a couple of cars I wanted to buy. M told me later that he told her that the one car I was focused on (2001 Aurora) was a bad buy because the car would have problems when it got to 200,000 miles. The funny thing about this is that I bought a car from him with over a quarter of a million miles on it and it messed up on me not even one hour after sold it to me. Matter of fact, I haven't had the car working for more than 3 or 4 months. So, as you can see, I don't know if his advice is worth it or not. I would much rather have him look the car over for problems at present (wore hoses and belts and things like that). All I know is that having a car that can't get you from point A to B is a pain in the ass.
I have done 2 weeks of "stuff" at the New and Improved Brickwall Comedy Club and haven't gotten a dime. I usually do these things as a faith thing that in the neat future he hires me as a feature act. Last time this happened I waited a couple f months afterward to get put on. A friend from the club and a fellow comedian was telling me not to overexpose myself and I think he is right if you do not have a lot of material. There is a good 20-30 minutes of stuff I got that I don't do because it is mostly stuff about my life. I think I want t go up as much as possible for two reasons. I like making people laugh and I like the attention. My personality doesn't go that way, but when you are presented with a chance to be the center of attention then you will do it.
If I don't write a new blog for awhile blame it on Major League Baseball 2k7.
